ALL VISA APPLICATIONS AND PAYMENTS ARE NOW MADE THROUGH THE NIGERIA IMMIGRATION WEBSITE. SEE THE REQUIREMENT BELOW:
The former STR and TWP Visas application processes are now replaced with the Entry Permits under the new e-CERPAC application process.
The e-CERPAC (Electronic Comprehensive Expatriate Residence Permit and Automated Cards) is an essential Immigration document issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to eligible foreign nationals. It serves as both a Residence Permit and an identification card, granting expatriates the legal right to live, work, study, or invest in Nigeria.
Notably, the newly introduced e-CERPAC eliminates the need for post-arrival regularization, as it is processed and issued before the expatriate enters the country. This innovation streamlines Immigration procedures, reduces administrative delays, and enhances compliance by ensuring that expatriates arrive in Nigeria with full legal authorization already in place.
The classes of Visas under this category are;
- R10- Temporary Work Permit visa (90 days)
- R11- Temporary Work Permit visa (6months)
- R2A- Employment (Expatriate) Visa – dependant on Quota
- R3A- Employment (Expatriate) Free Trade Zone Visa
- R6A- Employment (Cleric) Visa
