Website Content Manager

  • Responsibilities include the creation of content for the Embassy website and social media handles.
  • Ensuring functionality of the website and assessing/responding to social media interactions
  • Attention to detail, highly organised and flexible
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Experience writing for various media, copy editing, proofreading.

Required skill set:

  • Hands on experience with MS Office
  • Knowledge of layouts, aesthetic and responsive designs
  • Basic technical knowledge of responsive design, HTML5 & CSS
  • Good knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and Hosting:
    • WordPress
    • JavaScript
    • jQuery
  • Wide degree of creativity (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw or similar)
  • Ability to create content for web banners and notices
  • Familiarity with social media sites (Facebook Pages).
  • Some PC software and hardware troubleshooting knowledge is also expected.
